However, towing and maximum payload ratings change depending upon the powertrain drivers choose. The 2.4 twin-turbo V6 engine is rated to tow up to 14,000 pounds, with the 5.0 V8 rated for about one thousand pounds less. The hybrid powertrain is slated to tow up to 12,700 pounds, while the diesel is rated for just over 12,000 pounds.

Maximum payload will depend on both the powertrain chosen and the exterior configuration for your F-150. While the basic motor will offer the 1,840 pound payload, the F-150 may be able to haul 3,250 pounds in the truck bed.

Design
